Basic SEA Survival Training conducted in accordance with guidelines set by PSLA, AMSA, IAGC, OPITO, UKOOA AND E&P Forum. Basic SEA Survival Training Objective : to provide participants with knowledge and confidence to assist in their survival in the event of an emergency offshore with the proper use of available emergency equipment.

Basic SEA Survival Training Contents:

On completion, participants expected to be able to demonstrate a competences in the theory and application of the following:

• The Principe’s of sea survival
• Survive mentality
• Threatening of sea survival
• Survival technique
• Help position
• Hipotermia
• How to survive in the open water
• Survival kits and safety equipments
• Life jackets, types, characteristic, procedures, how to use and how to maintain
• Type of safety boats, characteristic and how to work
• Liferaft – types, characteristic, equipment, management, procedures, how to work .
• SOS (asking help)
• Safety procedures from open water (by boat, cargo net, helicopter, etc)
• Practical in the water (see pictures attached)
• Post Test
