Defensive Driving Training Program Level 1 (Light Vehicle) : Conducted in accordance with guidelines set by, SMITH System, and Direcorate General of Land Transportation Republic of Indonesia.
Defensive Driving Training Overview: Most of accidents happen on the road. That is why defensive driving training is required for those who drive vehicle as their transportation. Defensive driving training is designed to achieve zero accident and embed safety road behavior and culture to the participants.
This training is also designed to enhance level participants of their knowledge, competences, technical skill, analysis, road risk assessment and management, proper preparation, personnel capabilities, operation control, driver responsibilities, road safety awareness and care, emergency response, quality driving, effective application of standard safety driving, tools and equipments.
Training Requisite: For those who have driving experienced more than 2 years and own a valid driving license, understand traffic signals and not Color Blind.
Training Contents: On completion, participants expected to be able to demonstrate a competences in the theory and application of the following:

• Hazard and risk on the road and identification (awareness & management)
• Common road traffic, traffic management and worst type of vehicle accidents
• Near Miss, Incident and Accident Cause
• Hazard and Risk Management
• Mechanical Awareness
• Safe and Low Risk Driving Techniques
• Preparation, spot view, space, distance, speed, stop and communication devices
• Application of safety driving and operation control (crash, passing, moving the path, return, parking, cross road, rain, poor road, limitation, etc)
• Blind Spot and How To Manage
• Weight Centre Awareness
• Cornering & Operating The Steering Wheel
• Emergency cases (near miss, breaking loose, skidding, flat tire, engine or light failure, etc)
• Tire awareness
• Effective and safe off-road driving strategy
• Accident prevention formula
• Post test
• Training Vehicles during hands-on session
PRACTICAL SESSION
• Proper Pre-trip & Post-trip inspection
• Safe space while stopping behind a vehicle
